CARROLL GARDENS TRIPLEXES - 2017-2019
This project, recently completed, is the redevelopment of a 3-story townhouse into a 4-story plus finished cellar and penthouse, 2-unit condominium. The home had a crumbling stucco facade which was rebuilt with handmade Dutch brick. The living space was doubled with a 11 foot deep extension into the rear yard and full floor addition and small penthouse above. The garden triplex has an open living space on the first floor leading to a deck and the garden below, two bedrooms/two bathrooms including an en-suite master on the second floor, and a family room and third bedroom on the garden level. The penthouse unit has a similar layout, with an open living room / kitchen layout on the third floor with an adjacent flex-space dining room/third bedroom Above are two bedrooms/two bathrooms including an en-suite master on the fourth floor. The apartment culminates with a penthouse study and roof deck with harbor and skyline views.
